Sehubungan dengan perubahan tersebut, aktiviti perarakan adalah dibatalkan.
Walaubagaimanapun, Sepanduk tetap akan dihakimi dan dipertandingkan. Mohon semua kontinjen menghantar sepanduk ke Masjid Bandar Sri Aman pada 26 Ogos 2026 jam 7.30 pagi.
Keputusan ini dibuat oleh Jawatankuasa Tetap Perayaan Islam Bahagian Sri Aman setelah mempertimbangkan keadaan jerebu yang sedang berlaku di Sarawak, demi menjaga keselamatan, kesihatan dan kesejahteraan semua peserta serta orang ramai.
Pihak penganjur amat kesal atas perubahan ini dan memohon maaf atas segala kesulitan yang timbul. Kerjasama, keprihatinan dan pengertian semua pihak amatlah dihargai.

KUCHING (Aug 12): Firefighters are still battling a forest fire that has affected an estimated 80 hectares along Jalan Kejatau-Lingga, Sri Aman, with about 60 hectares still burning as the operation entered its third day today. The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said nine firefighters from the Sri Aman fire station were deployed to the location at 8.30am to continue firefighting operations. “As of today, an estimated 20 hectares have been successfully extinguished, leaving about 60 hectares still affected by the fire. “Strong winds caused the fire to spread quickly, while limited open water sources such as drains hampered firefighting efforts,” a Bomba spokesman said in a statement. Other challenges faced by the firefighters included poor telecommunications coverage and narrow road access to the affected area. The fire was first reported at 1.19pm on Monday, with the firefighters arriving at the scene at 1.35pm, about 15km from Sri Aman fire station. |
